Elizabeth Rubio
About Elizabeth Rubio
My name is Elizabeth Rubio, and I am a graduate counseling student at Divine Mercy University pursuing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Houston and have spent several years working in ministry and service with children, adolescents, and adults. These experiences have shaped my deep appreciation for listening well, meeting people where they are, and walking alongside them through seasons of change.
I am especially interested in trauma-informed care and family systems, and I value creating a counseling space that is safe, collaborative, and grounded in empathy. I believe that healing and growth happen through honest conversation, meaningful relationships, and compassionate support that honors each person’s unique story, strengths, and resilience. My approach is rooted in respect, curiosity, and a belief in every individual’s capacity to grow and flourish.
My understanding of the human person is informed by Catholic anthropology, which emphasizes dignity, relationality, and hope, while remaining attentive to each client’s personal values and lived experience. If you are seeking support during this season of life, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
I am able to offer services in both English and Spanish.
